Makeup artist Kelly Budd draws inspiration from texture to history, from femininity to everyday life. Kelly has developed a strong technique that is both intuitive and precise. Known for her expression, her range, and virtuosity of technique, she has built a reputation for high detail and creativity.
Ms. Budd is part of the Coalition of New York State Career Schools, New York, NY And is a Licensed Private School Provisional Teacher. She has been published nationally and internationally in magazines such as Marie Claire, ZiNK, Highlights, Deutsch Magazine, Glassbook, and many more. She has worked with recording artists M.I.A, Neon Hitch, Lissie Trullie, Time Flies and Dragonette. Her commercial work can be seen on channels such as VH1, for VH1 Divas Live. She has worked runway shows for Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, and DKNY. Kelly is also a member of the L'Oreal Pro team.
Kelly originally hails from Portsmouth, VA. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University, School of the Arts. And is also a graduate of Makeup Designory, NYC. Kelly is currently based in New York City.
